It was announced earlier this month that Netflix doesn‘t own the rights to its own series in Australia due to an existing agreement.

As Netflix hadn‘t launched locally when the fourth season aired four years ago, Foxtel purchased the first-run broadcast rights for all future seasons.

Avid fans have been promised the return of much-loved characters including the likes of Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Jessica Walter, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, David Cross and Jeffrey Tambor.

It was recently announced that the fourth season was recut by television writer and producer Mitchell Hurwitz.

The fourth season initially followed a different format from the remaining three seasons.

Focusing on a different character‘s perspective in each episode, it was reported that the reason for doing so was because the producer‘s struggled to get the actors together at once.

In April, Hurwitz announced that he recut the season to match the style of the original series, available on Netflix.
