Jim Carrey pulls goofy facial expressions while spraying garden hose on set of new project

He is known as one of the funniest actors in the world, but has been keeping a low profile recently.

But that doesn‘t mean Jim Carrey isn‘t hard at work on something new, as he was seen on set in Studio City, Tuesday.

The 56-year-old actor was snapped while making goofy facial expressions as he sprayed a garden hose.

It remains unclear what project the star was working on, but he does have an upcoming Showtime series called Kidding.

The Ace Ventura actor wore a brown plaid jacket as he took care of some chores while atop a stoop.

Carrey donned slate blue pants while standing outside the facade of a brick building, and a checkered, long-sleeve shirt crept out beneath his coat.

Cameras rolled while the star, whose hair was shoulder length and parted to one side, got into character.

Carrey‘s upcoming Showtime project was created by Dave Holstein, and features 10 episodes, all directed by Michel Gondry.

This will mark the Liar Liar star‘s first collaboration with the French film icon since they worked together on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Catherine Keener, Frank Langella, and Judy Greer are also set to star in the forthcoming series.

Deadline reports, ‘Kidding centers on Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles (Carrey), an icon of children’s television, a beacon of kindness and wisdom to America’s impressionable young minds and the parents who grew up with him – who also anchors a multimillion dollar branding empire.

‘But when this beloved personality’s family – wife, two sons, sister and father – begins to implode, Jeff finds no fairy tale or fable or puppet will guide him through this crisis, which advances faster than his means to cope.‘

Jason Bateman is also acting as a producer on the program, which has no premiere date at this time.
